It is open the whole year round as a main office for the coordination of the programs of education and environmental interpretation of the Abruzzo National Park and as a reference point of information and orientation for the scholar parties and echotouristic groups.

To have the first hand information on the Park and to acquire documentation and publications: Pescasseroli zonal office: open all days of the week (non working days included). Time: 9:00-12:00 and 15:00-19:00. Val Fondillo zonal office: open all days (non working days included): from 6 April to 6 October. Time: 9:00-13:00 and 14:00-18:00. Barrea zonal office: open all non working days and the day before. Time: 9:00-12:00 and 15:00-19:00. Pizzone zonal office: open all non working days and the day before. Time: 9:00-12:00 and 15:00-19:00. Forca d'Acero zonal office:open all non working days and the day before. Time:10:00-18:00.
CENTRES OF VISIT:
Purpose of the centres: to orientate the visitors towards a correct relationship with the Nature and to supply knowledge and information in a clear and permanent fashion. Near the following centres guided visits and projections are organised with comments for scholar and visitors parties, against previous booking. Centre of Naturalistic Visit: at Pescasseroli, with Naturalistic Museum, Faunistic Park, Apenninic Garden, Echologic Laboratory and playing area for children.
Open all year round. Time 10:00-12:00 e 15:00-18:00. Centre of Visit of the Apenninic Wolf: at Civitella Alfedena, with Museum and Faunistic Area, Zonal Office, Natural Paths and Equiped Area. Open all year round: Time 9:00-12:00 and 15:00-19:00. Centre of Visit of the Chamois of Abruzzo: at Opi, with Museum and Faunistic Area. Open from 6 April to the 6 October. Time: 9:00-12:00 e 15:00-19:00. Centre of Visit of the Deer: at Villavallelonga, with Museum, Faunistic Area, Ecologic Laboratorium , Botanic Garden and Nature Path. Open all year round. Time: 9:00-12:00 and 15:00-19:00. Centre of the roe-deer (Bamby): at Bisegna, with Museum and Faunistic Area (under preparation) and Nature Path. Open all days from 6 April to the 6 October. Time: 9:00-12:00 and 15:00-19:00. Centre of Visit "A world of insects": at San Sebastiano di Bisegna, with Museum, Projection room, Special room for children, Natural garden. Open all year round. Time: 10:00-13:00 and 15:00-19:00. Faunistic Area of the lynx: at Civitella Alfedena, to observe and acquire better knowledge of this splendid feline (the better observing time of the animal is during the hours less hot of the day) (the morning and the afternoon/evening, Ndt). Faunistic Area of the Chamois of Abruzzo: at Castelnuovo al Volturno, in the marvellous scenary of the Mainarde mountains. Predatory Centre: at Barrea, to discover and trace the birds of prey of the park. Centre of the Services of the Fucens Marsica: at Gioia dei Marsi, with Zonal Office and Exposition Hall.
